Shoutcast changed stuff.
They redid shoutcast.com. Now there’s not “alternative” genre. I can only find pop rock in the rock section. I am sad.
Well that might be part of the problem.
My computer had been running slow lately. BAD slow. So I began cursing the stupid ballistix ram yet again….. then I noticed windows only reported 1gb of ram….. Uh oh, there’s TWO gigs in the machine!
Turns out one stick was just hanging there. D’OH! Stupid me.
Now I remember why I don’t get paid for 3d work.
I recently installed 3ds max 9, and boy have things changed over the years. It’s not as onery to get installed for one, and the whole underlying system had been reworked. But some things stay the same, I get frustrated. Since I’ve never properly “learned” the program I can’t really do what I want to do. And I get frustrated with the whole thing.
Add to that ameretto, a plugin for nvidia’s gelato GPU rendering system. It works, but without textures and it crashes hard on hair systems. It’s so much faster to use that I want to use it damnit!

I got it in my mind to dust out the DSl router, since it’s been sitting there collecting dust for years. It looks like I’ll have to open up the bugger to get it really good and dusted. When I icked it up the fucking bottom of the thing was 120F on the casing. I’m curious if this may be part of the reason it bogs down under bittorrent.

I couldn’t find my mariocart DS card. I looked freaking everywhere. Then I got my laundry out of the dryer and found the card. It was washed, and dried, aaaaaaaaaaand still works! yay!.
