Whee….. compiling php again.
I have an idea that requires the exif data from photos…. but it turns out you have to enable exif reading in php…. so yeah, recompile time. YAY!

So I made a post with my cell phone the other day but was suprised when it the photo didn’t make it through. Turns out sprint fucked the layout of the picture mail message yet again. STOP IT.
For reference this is the new URL for the pictures:
http://pictures.sprintpcs.com/mmps/001_1679d93934247521_1/2.jpg?partExt=.jpg&&&outquality=100&ext=.jpg
A couple of things were taken out to get the fullsize picture. border=, limitsize= and square output.
Now I’ll have to see if I can mash all that into sprintphoto again.
Update: Nothing changed with the picturemail service, wordpress changed to a new system that does away with categories. This breaks sprintphoto’s category bits and the wordpress update overwrote the modified wp-mail.
What is with all the noisy call centers? I just called wamu and it sounded like the guy was standing on the street due to all the noise. I’ve noticed this more and more lately and I just don’t understand it. When I was at nintendo i could get a little noisy, but I don’t think it was loud enough to carry over the line. My CSR experience has been forever tainted by the N.
*update* The whole reason I called is because I couldn’t remember the login stuff for the online banking. Of course, the username was my gmail account. ARRRRRGH.
I decided I don’t like vista for all sorts of reasons. And it turns out that apparently it pooched my raid array. When I rebooted into XP it said the array was degraded, so I got to piss away 3 hours while the array rebuilt. Maybe it’s just coincindence but I doubt it.
Really I do. There’s a plethora of reasons that have been covered many times before in great detail. The big one that pisses me off is that it’s too different. With Ubuntu 7.10 it took me about 10 minutes to figure things out and actually use it. Five minutes of vista just pissed me off. It also chews up entirely too much space. 8gb should be enough for a “base” OS but vista eats it all. The pretty new interface comes across poorly too. On top of that, my fairly beefy system barely meets with vista’s approval. Crap crap crap, it’s all crap.
Some time ago I updated my video card drivers, this was both good and bad. I got updated drivers that no longer turn on the fan. Apparently nvidia thinks 130F+ is just fine. You can set the fan speed in the control panel but it equates to all or nothing. And rivatuner’s fan profiles won’t remember the settings. RAAAAAAAAAAARGH!
This weekend I was watching the saturday morning cartoons and couldn’t believe the crap I saw. TNMT is no longer about ninjas, they’re not even ninjas, some kind of cyborg things. On top of the horrible character design the voices they use suck so bad. No wonder kids these days are so screwed up.
