Since it was halfway nice out I decided to go for a hike.  I’m also terribly out of shape so I hike wouldn’t hurt.  It was one of those nice “sun in the forest” hikes.  Some butterflies, and smelly flowers.  Good stuff.

I whipped out the ol’ kodak to take a picture and it did a slow whir.  Slower than normal, then the screen went all crazy and everything shut down.  “Oh shit!” I thought, “it’s dead!”.  However, after I got back to the car I popped in the other set of bateries and everything worked just fine.  I guess I’ve never run it that far out of juice before, I normaly swap batteries when the icon pops up. Live and learn.  Pictures later.

Newish drive from seagate. I thought I would point out the 250g since the drive I sent for replacement was a 120g. It was awfull nice of seagate to send me an extra 130gb. It will go a long way towards my bittorrent addiction :).

I just watched Chicago again, and I so totaly want Billy Flynn’s suit. The one with purple sparklies all over it.  I doubt I’d look as good as Richard Gere in it but I still want to try.

I finaly took my deadish hard drive down to get it shipped.  Conviently the business mail box place also ships through the major carriers.  I just looked at the reciept and it was shipped out through DHL….. bit odd because I asked for UPS specificaly.  But oh well.

Then I got to call sanmar and deal with the incorrect tshirt being ordered.  Thankfully they’re great about fixing things… then we decided an extra shirt wasn’t that much more so we got all three.  I just love it when I have to play phone take to work out things I should’ve just left alone in the first place.

So after like, a billion years, I finaly got a new IP on the DSL.  Who knows how long I’ve been unaware of the change but it really screws things up.  I just got done updating the DNS entries and one domain works great, the other won’t resolve yet, no idea why.  I was sitting here wondering why my email tests to the blog weren’t coming through.  Deeeeeeeeeer because the name and the ip don’t match! ARRRRRRRRRRRRRGH!
