Call me kooky

Talking to a guy about video cards and how it was hard to tell his video card sucked today.  This is a common problem, tasty cpu, lots of ram, no video card.  And they do thier best to hide the suckatude in the specs.  What we need is a simpler system.  I call it the plain speak system.   Instead of “128mb yada yada” we’ll have “This video card can’t run shit” or “this video card will run everything but you’ll have to whore yourself out to afford it”.  Fuck fill rates and pixel clocks that’s usefull information there.
